Surprise Proposal at Alila Fort, Bishangarh | Sejal & Rahul

Sigh! What a year so far!
This year had its moments, its highs and its lows. A few ends and several new beginnings. As a wedding photographer, some days can be overwhelming and this surely was one of them!

It was a jam packed year when it comes to work and life in general. Amongst all of this I found myself at this beautiful and captivating property, Alila fort Bishangarh, to shoot Sejal’s surprise proposal for Rahul. Alila fort is a 230- year old warrior fort turned into a luxury boutique hotel/resort situated near Jaipur in a a village called Bishangarh. What a day was that!

Overcast all through the day and a few showers here and there, which made us feel that this is going to be difficult as it was a surprise for Rahul, he knew nothing about. It was Sejal cordinating for the tits and bits with our team. And guess what amongst all of this we found a few minutes during the blue hour (what a dream setting for a photographer, Isn’t it! ) to make all of this work for these two lovers, this felt so calm and serene.

Whenever I am shooting an assignment, I try to keep it as honest, and as real as I can, without feeling the need to alter any of it. For I believe these are some moments that can’t be alter and should definitely hold a meaning to the couple.
